Tarwin Lower Collage Workshop

$80.00

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This workshop gives you the opportunity to access your creativity to create an artwork that is meaningful to you.

Learn the art and process of collage from artist Martine Zajacek, whose collage work has been exhibited locally and interstate.

You will use antique and vintage papers from Martine’s own collection of collage materials - some dating from the late 1800s. These are the same materials Martine uses in her own collage work.

During the workshop you will gather your collage materials from the vast selection provided, review your selection as you refine your collage, compose your final collage, glue it down, then add texture via mark making or stitching.

Martine will gently guide you through the process, providing assistance in material choice, colour and composition if required.

Finally, enjoy the satisfaction of framing your collage - creating a personal art work you can hang at home or gift to a loved one.

If you attend with a loved one or friend you will create a memory of quality creative time spent together.

All collage materials and picture frames supplied.

Photos & videos of previous students' work is on the Workshops page.
